Internship Projects
These projects were completed through multiple internships I held while still in school, where I gained hands-on experience in real-world workplaces and developed a deeper understanding of how companies approach the marketing process. Each opportunity allowed me to collaborate with teams, meet client expectations, and apply the skills I developed in the classroom to meaningful, results-driven projects.
Assistant for Chris Zervas
Top Business Strategy Speaker
During this internship, I was running campaigns for two different organizations at the same time, which pushed me to stay sharp and deliver quality work across both. One of the biggest projects I took on was leading a full visual rebrand for a business relaunch — I built the brand identity guidelines from scratch and created all the marketing collateral to go with it, making sure everything felt consistent and intentional across every channel. A lot of that work came down to helping a brand achieve sustained relevance with their audience — taking a vision that lived in someone's head and turning it into something real that people could actually connect with. I was in client meetings regularly, collaborating directly with leadership to translate business objectives into creative deliverables. That back and forth between strategy and execution — finding where a creative idea meets a real business outcome — is where I do my best work and where I want to keep growing
K-LIFE Ministries Bartlesville, OK
At K-Life, I did more than just design — I approached every piece of content with a conversion-focused mindset, thinking strategically about who we were talking to, what we wanted them to feel, and what we wanted them to do. I created marketing materials with clear calls-to-action built specifically around their rental facility, making sure every design decision had a purpose behind it. Rather than putting out generic content, I developed a campaign strategy with messaging tailored to different types of prospective renters — putting the audience first in every creative decision. That kind of thinking is what I believe helps brands stay relevant with the people they're trying to reach. I was also managing print and digital projects simultaneously throughout this role, which meant staying organized and keeping the brand consistent no matter the format. Every deadline got hit, and every deliverable was built to drive real engagement — not just look good.
The Atkinson Real Estate Team - Bartlesville, OK
Atkinson was where I really got to see the full picture of 360 value — where creative work, strategy, and business results all come together. The listings I worked on generated significantly more engagement, which reinforced that good design backed by strategy actually moves the needle. My role covered a lot of ground — building out graphics for hosted events, enhancing listing photos, and producing video content — all working together as part of a bigger multi-channel approach aimed at growing brand reach and driving real results. It wasn't just about making things look good, it was about creating content that got people to stop, click, and reach out. Beyond the creative side, I was sitting down with leadership regularly to understand their business objectives and turn those into deliverables. That back and forth between the business side and the creative side is where I feel most in my element — and it's exactly the kind of work I want to keep doing at a larger scale.
TRAD Project for Criminal Justice Department @ OKWU
For this project, I had the opportunity to create promotional pamphlets for the Criminal Justice Department at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, in partnership with the Tulsa Police Department. The goal was to design materials that could be used at events to attract prospective students and clearly showcase the different career paths available through the program. I focused on creating a layout that was visually engaging while keeping the information clear, organized, and easy to read. A big part of my process was making sure the design not only looked strong but also communicated the right message effectively to a wide audience.
